Got a chance to see some real live professional boxing, something we've only encountered in the city once before ("professional" being the operant word there). Had a couple pupusas and quarts of beer over at El Zocalo (great food, open late) and then down to Roccapulco for the pugilism. Though each fight was only 3 rounds long (there were twelve in all) that seemed to be ample time for pummeling and blood-bringing.
More Hell's Angels than you could shake a stick at (not that we'd recommend it) and ample leather jacket representation from around the bay. At least we weren't the only one wearing a skirt.
"No Flash Allowed" means get as close as you can and try to keep steady.
Hope this included the blond girl carrying the "Round 2" sign.

Want to go ringside? This one came word of mouth, but check Roccapulco's calendar periodically, as we overheard they might be doing this once a month.
