Sea Feast!

Well, perhaps not a feast from the entire sea, but there were crustaceans and bivalves involved... img_0597_1.JPG

Felt bad that they had to spend their last hours all cooped up, so we let them roam the tub instead (and yes, we see the irony in feeling bad when we planned to eat them anyway.)

When it came time, we made Jesse do the dirty work.

Baked up some homemade bread to go with the soup.

Which turned out pretty delicious. The trick? Just keep throwing things in there til it tastes good.

Want to try this at home? We like Sun Fat fish market on Mission between 22nd and 23rd (yeah, yeah, blowing up everybody's favorite spot, but who's really reading this anyway?) because everything's so clean and inexpensive and the white-coated gentlemen are so friendly they probably wouldn't even glare at you if you asked how many oysters were in a dozen.
