Threw a little Cajun feast a couple Sundays ago, or more appropriately Mr. Rolls did, as I cooked nothing and merely supplied the kitchen and dining area.
Said chef and the Governor.
Browning bacon for the green beans.
Spicy jambalaya straight from the Coop's cookbook with two pounds of andouille sausage and prawns (couldn't handle the whole rabbit thing). So tasty, I must've eaten three helpings.
Franklin manned the sazeracs.
Nicely done, sir.
Rolls fried chicken for the first time and it was perfect. Twenty mouths and not a single piece made it past 9 o'clock.
The old two-muffin face cram.

Have we outdone ourselves yet? Can't take any credit for this one, but man was it good. Red beans and rice, corn pudding, corn on the cob, fried chicken, jambalaya, green beans with bacon, crab cakes, coleslaw, jalapeno and cheese cornbread and red-velvet bourbon cupcakes for dessert. God I love potlucks.
